We combine Swiss tradition with painstaking craftsmanship and in-depth knowledge of how cacao is processed. Central Switzerland is not only home to Felchlin, but also to the local ingredients that find their way into our couvertures.
Swiss tradition, Craftsmanship and Expertise
For more than a hundred years, we have been processing cacao in our factory according to traditional, time-honoured principles and using the finest local ingredients. We are utterly devoted to producing the finest couvertures using time-honoured methods. However, it is equally important for us to look ahead and to offer targeted and individualised training that fosters the know-how of our 150 employees. Doing so achieves the optimal combination of traditional craftsmanship, profound expertise and forward-looking philosophy and practice.
Located in Central Switzerland
Felchlin's company headquarters and chocolate factory are located in Ibach-Schwyz, in the heart of Switzerland. Situated directly in front of the Alps and surrounded by numerous lakes, the foundation stone for the production of the highest quality couverture was laid here more than a century ago.
As well as the award-winning dark exquisite couvertures, milk couvertures are among Felchlin's specialities. The rich biodiversity in our region, with its lush meadows and Alps where the cows graze, the crystal-clear mountain water and over a hundred different varieties of herbs, contribute to the unique quality of Swiss milk. And it is only this milk that we use for our couvertures.
